cornflake dreams.: friday five.

friday five.

Happy Friday! I'm linking up with April today to share a few things on my mind:
ONE: Thank you for all of your sweet comments and emails about my health. I really appreciate and I apologize if my post on Monday was a little cryptic -- here's an update: I had an MRI last Thursday to determine if I had an active Crohn's flare (I do) and a blood test the following Monday to see how bad my inflammation is (I'm still waiting on those results). I am feeling a little better and my symptoms have gone down, but I might need to switch up or increase my meds. I am extremely grateful to have a GI doctor who is very proactive and seems to know what he is doing! (If you're unfamiliar with Crohn's and you're interested in learning more the CCFA website is a great resource and it has lots of helpful information).
TWO: The sweet people over Dew Puff sent over a few of their all-natural 100% plant based Face and Body Cleansing Sponges. The sponges are made out of Japanese konjac root and they get super soft when wet. I have really sensitive skin, so I like that these sponges are gentle and effective. They are available in three varieties: Original, Bamboo Charcoal, and Asian Clay.
THREE: It's amazing how a small thing can make such a huge difference. We replaced the crazy floral knobs in our kitchen with simple satin nickel knobs from Build.com. I also bought these knobs to update an old dresser that originally belonged to my great-grandparents.
FOUR: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is live*! Here are my favorites, in my shopping cart: distressed denim (only $44.90) - vintage nike sweatshirt - on my wish list: zella amplify racerback tank - zella live in leggingselea cuff - chloe earrings - tricolor infinity cashmere scarf (the sale is exclusive to Nordstrom cardholders but opens up to everyone on July 17, so start a wish list!)
FIVE: I can't stop making s'mores in our microwave. My favorite combination so far is chocolate, marshmallow and NUTELLA. holy moly. sooo good. Now I'm wanting to try these s'mores treats: fudge striped cookie s'mores, s'mores magic barschocolate chip cookie s'mores

Have a great weekend!
