cornflake dreams.: five on friday.

five on friday.

Happy Friday -- Cheers to a long weekend! I'm I'm linking up with Christina, April, Natasha, and Darci today.
ONE: H's friend is visiting this weekend -- I'm excited to show him around Charleston and play tourist and visit a few new (to us) sites: Old Exchange Building and Provost Dungeon and Fort Sumter.
TWO: I loveee me some Cadbury Cream Eggs and I'm sure by now you've heard that they are changing the recipe. But only in the UK.
According to Today: For now, creme egg aficionados in the United States don’t have to worry. The Pennsylvania-based Hershey Company has a license to make Cadbury products in the U.S. and says while “there has always been a slight formula variation in the product between countries” to account for different palates, company spokeswoman Anna Lingeris said we'll still get the same treat. “There are no changes planned. It is the same product everyone knows and loves," she said. phew...crisis averted!
THREE: I'm going to another candle making class at Candlefish on Saturday with the girls! This time I want to make a fruity candle for Spring.
FOUR: Megan and Christina posted a cute "four things" little survey... and now I'm stealing it :)

Four names that people call me other than my real name: Jilly, Jilly Bean --- and from H: Deets, Jill Jelly, Jillinois, Giuliana, Cornflake... he's a fan of nicknames ;)

Four jobs I’ve had: Grocery bagger before my big promotion to cashier -- my first "real" job ;); Marketing Content Coordinator; Marketing Communications Specialist; Graphic Design Consultant

Four movies I’ve watched more than once: Sense and Sensibility; Love Actually; How the Grinch Stole Christmas; Sliding Doors

Four books I’d recommend: Me Before You by Jojo Moyes; Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri; Where'd you go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple; To Dance With Kings by Rosalind Laker

Four places I’ve lived: Milwaukee, WI; Chicago, IL; West Ashely, SC; Charleston, SC

Four places I’ve visited: GreeceItalyFranceTurkey

Four things I prefer not to eat: mushrooms; olives; fish; eggplant

Four of my favorite foods: sandwiches; carrot cake; peanut butter; and CHEESE: goat, feta, blue cheese, sharp cheddar

Four things I’m looking forward to this year: Meeting Violet; Spring in Charleston; Moving to our new home when H finishes fellowship-- still TBD!; Baby's first Thanksgiving and Christmas
FIVE: Don't forget to enter the Evolution Fresh $40 Starbucks gift card giveaway

Have a great weekend!

  21. i have had cadbury creme eggs in Aus, UK & here in the US. They all taste the same overall, even if there are little differences. I am trying to hold out right now because I freaking LOVE them and know I will eat a thousand before easter comes around.I LOVE Sliding Doors, and of course Sense & Sensibility.

  25. I love cream eggs and am oddly gutted that they have changed the recipe. I'm hoping it isn't by a huge amount but would be fun to see if I can taste the difference. x
