candy cane hack with Peanut Butter & Co + Giveaway.

Full Disclaimer: I received complimentary items from Peanut Butter & Co. to facilitate this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that support Cornflake Dreams.

One of my favorite holiday cookies are Nerds, clusters of cereal dipped in a mix of white chocolate and peanut butter. This year I wanted to mix things up, so I decided to add some peppermint to the recipe and use a blend of Dark Chocolate Dreams and White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter. The result was a seriously addictive festive treat :)

Ingredients:
1 cup Kix cereal
1.5 cups Reece's Peanut Butter Puffs cereal
1/2 brick white chocolate candy coating
1 cup peanuts
1 tablespoon Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter
1 tablespoon White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter
5 crushed candy canes

METHOD: Melt the white chocolate candy coating in the microwave (approx. 40 seconds), mix the melted white chocolate candy coating with peanut butter, peanuts and cereal. Spoon mixture onto foil to dry, sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Let dry and enjoy!
Shop now: use the code YUMSQUADLOVE (case sensitive) at checkout for 25% off the online store for the month of December. 1. It's an old family recipe...so I'm not sure who came up with the name but I think it's because they sorta look like Nerds candy!
