five on friday

Happy Friday! Thank you for all of your sweet comments on my baby shower and bumpdate posts! You guys are the best :) Anyhoo I'm linking up with ChristinaAprilNatasha, and Darci today for Five on Friday.
ONE: We're off to Fredericksburg, Virginia this weekend for my cousin Kacie's wedding (she's the one on the left above). Follow along on instagram if you want to see my bump in a bridesmaid dress ;)
I'm loving these Rifle Paper Co. covers: rosa - paris map - spanish rose - botanical rose - swan lake
TWO: I finally upgraded my broke-down iPhone (I wasn't able to lock it for months). I went with a white iPhone 5 since the upgrade only cost me $13 (whoohoo!). Since I saved on the actual phone, I spent a little more on a new case (totally worth it since I drop my phone all the time).
THREE: I'm a little late to the Piko shirt craze but I finally ordered a few. The tees are made out of 95% bamboo fabric and they are super soft. I ordered the smallest size available and it's really flowy (check out the third pic above). I'm still deciding if I am going to keep them or not. I'm sure I'll appreciate the tees in a few months when my bump gets bigger and after the baby arrive. I guess I'm just not used to wearing something that flowy. Are you a fan of Piko shirts?
FOUR: I've noticed I am getting some lovely little laugh lines. I'm trying to stay positive about the whole aging gracefully thing but I don't think it hurts to start using some anti-wrinkle products. I just ordered this serumdo you have any other favorites?

FIVE: H and I saw St. Vincent yesterday and I loved it. It made me cry like a baby (like ugly cry... I'm blaming this one on baby hormones!) Anyhoo it was a really entertaining story and Bill Murray was great AND it has the hilarious cop from Bridesmaids. So see it or make sure you add it to your future Netflix list!

Have a wonderful weekend!
-xo-

  1. You know, I also just noticed some laugh lines. I was a little freaked out at first, but at least they're lines from joy and not from frowning!

Have a great time at the wedding!

  2. Have fun in Virginia this weekend! Love your new iPhone case, so pretty! I have the 5 too and still love it (minus the battery life but that's the problem with any iPhone). And don't worry, I've been noticing some wrinkles lately too. At least they're laugh lines!

  6. I just started using a retinol twice a week by skinmedica as recommended to me by a doctor, My aunt has used retinol since she was in her 30s and her skin looks amazing now for being in her 60s. Nothing wrong with a little help in aging gracefully! I'm not sure if you can use it while pregnant/breastfeeding though? Might have to wait until after babies!

  8. I love all those iPhone cases! I think I'm going to ask for a new one for Christmas. I'm tired of mine. I just learned about those Pico shirts too! I love the price point on them and think they would make perfect pregnant shirts!! I might have to invest in one!

  12. I do like the Pico shirt -- I think it'll be great post-baby when you want to snuggle in and hide bits that shift around during pregnancy.

As far as laugh lines go, it shows a full, happy life. Enjoy the wedding, lady!

  22. Hi! I just did a post on skincare because I'm getting crows feet. I love the este lauder serum. It's expensive, but I love it and have seen results. For a toner, I love the cucumber toner from Khiels. Its been amazing too and its only 16 bucks!
