trim the tree with travel trinkets.

One of my favorite things about the holidays is decorating our tree. I love unpacking our growing collection of ornaments, which includes lots of little trinkets that we have picked up on our trips. My favorite ornament is the "sun king" lion we purchased in paris, on our honeymoon -- he is a finger puppet and fits perfectly as the tree-topper!
What is your favorite ornament?
Do you collect anything when you travel?

  2. I love this! What a great reminder of all your travels! I like to do the same thing with my ornaments. My favorite is one I got while we were in Key West. Every time I look at it, I remember that fun time:)

  11. i do the same! if i can't find anything i like, i'll use a key chain, since they are cheap. and then i'll take the chain part off. add a hook and pop on the tree!

  12. This is exactly what my family does. The majority of our ornaments are either hand-me-downs, or they're from our travels abroad!
