sometimes the work week can drag on - especially when you have a big trip right around the corner! to to break up the week, i like to stop and try something new: 

1. start the day off with a little exercise - i love to do pilates or yoga in the morning and lately i also have been trying new routines from my 'work it out' pinterest board
2. while you're at the office, put pandora on your guilty pleasure music station (i LOVE oldies from the 50's and 60's and i have been caught dancing in my chair quite a few times).
3. snack smart - i like to snack on a mix of strawberries and red grapes.

how do you mix up your midweek routine? 



  1. Aw, that sounds like a good Wednesday routine! My wednesdays are usually my craziest days and I feel like I'm just barely holding on.

  2. My office mate and I just picked up a teeny fridge and a flat of Perrier for mid-afternoon pick me ups!

  3. I always think the first thing I'm going to do in the morning is go on a run. And then I open Instagram and that's just a black hole.

    Need to workout in the mornings stat!

  4. You are inspiring me to get into my routine! I've just hit six weeks postpartum, so I'm in the clear! SO excited to get my workout routine going again (finally)!

  5. The kids and I love busting out a good ol' random dance party! On their birth day at their birth time, we just go crazy. Check out our favorite station to rock out to over here:
