craving: grilled cheese.

soup and grilled cheese are a match made in comfort food heaven. i love classic grilled cheese sandwiches but there's always room to add in one or two drool-worthy extra ingredients::

last week i had a pesto, tomato cheddar grilled cheese sandwich and it was ahhhmazing.
what do you like to add to your grilled cheese?

  1. Grilled cheese is definitely a way into my heart! It is one of those comfort foods that I most certainly can not live without. And when you go all out with it - bacon, pesto, etc - oh goodness! Watch out ;) XO Brynn

  2. Grilled cheese has always been one of my favorites but I like it just with good cheese & thick bread. Yum!

  3. Usually I like a traditional grilled cheese but I'm really tempted by that bacon tomato one up there...

  8. I had the best grilled cheese at a restaurant in DC last week - pesto, fontina, goat cheese, parmesan, and walnuts. It was AMAZING.

  9. We did jalepeno, cream cheese, cheddar jack, and tortilla chips in a grilled cheese. It was awesome! I was really iffy about the tortilla chips, but it works!
