cornflake dreams.: a holiday favorite.

a holiday favorite.

broccoli cheese and rice casserole is a favorite at our holiday gatherings and it is usually the first thing to go. this year i am making the casserole for thanksgiving dinner at my parents, luckily it is very easy to throw together::
*you can use cream of chicken or mushroom if you'd like instead of cream of celery soup.

what are your holiday staple sides?

  4. I love how we all have similar dishes at Thanksgiving but every family makes theirs differently. My mom makes her broccoli & rice casserole with cream of mushroom soup and Velveeta cheese. :)

  7. I've been making this recipe for years and it's SO yummy! I sometimes double the rice and add chicken to stretch it a little and it works like a charm.
