once i chopped my hair i was quickly reminded that i have a crazyyyy cowlick in the back right side. we're talking straight on left, totally flipped out on right = aweeeesome. enter the return of the professional hair straightener. when i had longer hair i only used a straightener once in a while but the cowlick wasn't really an issue. i was given the chance to review a new straightener -- the hana professional 1" flat iron and it blew my old chi straightener out of the water! hana heats up quick and does the job so my hair stays straight all day. i also use bumble and bumble products --thickening spray for volume and grooming cream to keep everything sleek -- before drying and straightening my hair.

i have not had short hair in a few years...but I definitely remember the maintenance of it!!! the hair straightener was my best friend :) i absolutely love your short hair, by the way...SO cute!!! XO brynn

i absolutely LOVE b&b thickening spray! i use it every time i blowdry. also, i just bought "how to look expensive" and it is amaaazing. step-by-step directions for a flawless blowout and diagrams for flattering hairstyles that are easy to manage.

I use a straightener every morning. Kind of a pain. I have straight hair but if I try and skip my hair looks insane by the end of the day ... Love Bumble and Bumble products. Its all I use!

When I had short hair, my flat iron SAVED me every morning. That said, now that it's long, I don't do anything with my hair.
Beauty wise, though, my concealer is amazing. MAC and I look like I've slept the night before.
My hair is sadly this straight all of the time. I always want a bob and once I do it, I'm over it. ha! I loved Jennifer Anniston's hair like that! xo

I've got a 2" Solia flat iron that I can't imagine life without–we've been together longer than John and I have!
I have the same cowlick! crazy sometimes..that is way I made the switch to Keratin treatments...my hair is pin straight after sleeping on it wet...its awesome..you gotta try it!

My face is too round to really pull off chin length hair, but looking at these photos makes me have a little hair envy! It always looks so much more put together than whatever long mop I have going on!
My straightner is quickly coming to it's final days. I should look into this one. Sounds like it does an excellent job for you.
I love BB products but have never tried the thickening ones. I wonder how it would do on my wavy hair??

Bedhead afterparty is my go to. I put it in while my hair is wet...blow dries sleek....or....mix Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner with a little gel and put in damp hair before drying.
