wedding wednesday - sweet favors.

happy wedding wednesday - we're less than 2 months from the big day! thankfully, our to-do list is starting to (slowly) shrink. right now i am figuring out the favors! we're going to have lots of food (and sweets!) but i am still leaning towards something edible for the favors. i think it's nice to have something to snack on after the wedding. one of my all-time favorite favors was at my friend's wedding, she had giant candy apples! here are some other tasty treats::

what do you think of wedding favors? go or no go?
do you usually want something to eat!?

  1. I'm a big believer that all wedding favors should be edible. I hate taking home some little tchotchke that I'll never use. We had apple cider donuts for favors at our wedding. I don't know about our guests, but I sure loved them :)

  9. yes yes and yes! i love them because so many times you get a favor that's just a knick knack really, and after all that dancing you need a little snack for the ride home! :) my friend had "little kid" candy set up at each table and you could make a bag of it, so we were chowing on fun dip and gummi worms all night!

  16. My wedding is also less than 2 months away!! Crazy, right?! Our original plan was to give flower bulbs as the favor but the peanut brittle we made around Christmas was such a huge hit that we decided to make it (together, aww) again! I'm excited but I wish it was something we could do in advance and get out of the way. I would hate for it to go stale in the upcoming summer humidity. So many last minute projects lining up! Best wishes!!

  17. I always tell my clients to give favors that are either donations to a great cause that's near to their heart or something that is edible! Edible favors never go to waste and are usually consumed before the evening is over which is a win win for all :) Love the idea of cotton candy! How fun! xoxo
