a few weeks ago i received an email in my work inbox that was titled "suitcase party!" ehhh, what? i was a little suspicious before i opened it, i thought it might be spam but it was from our office's main receptionist. the email was an invitation from the firm to attend a suitcase party on april 13th, with the tagline "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas." okay you have my attention.
the email went on to explain that the firm is giving away an all-expenses paid 2-night trip to vegas (airfare, hotel, and $500 spending cash) to four lucky employees. the catch is you have to sign up for the drawing a month in advance and you won't find out if you're going to vegas til the night of the party when you leave immediately from the office and fly to vegas! o, and you're traveling with 3 co-workers you may or may not know (there's about 150 people at our office).
the suitcase party is this friday at 5 pm and you BETTER believe i signed up to win! i also made realllly fun plans to visit milwaukee with my best friends on saturday - so whatever happens it's a win, win situation.
would you sign up for this sort of thing?

That's awesome! I'd love to pack a bag and go to work and not know if I was going home or to Vegas when 4 or 5 rolled around! Hope you get to go! Though your back up plan sounds pretty awesome as well! Pretty sure you'll be having fun no matter what!
