with three months to go until the wedding i have been wrapped up in all the little details. i still have some time to work on a few DIY projects... i just need to pick one or two and get going!
i so love the idea of DIY projects for the wedding, but i am so horrible with crafty things. i'm wrapping our church programs with jute twine...does that count?!
ah so fun! i think the DIY elements tend to make the wedding so special and personal. right now, i'm painting 16 frames and it is taking FOREVER. truly a labor of love ;) xo
Personal details def make your day more special and also allow your guest to really experience y'all as a couple. I would incorporate DIY details that tell a little story about you two. I'm not sure if this is DIY but we had a bus tour for our guests to take them around the city while we were taking photos, during the tour they pointed out places that we loved to go to, where we met etc.
I love this because it's not a huge undertaking, just a little handmade gift to your guests to tell them how much you appreciate them. I am horrible at DIY, but as a guest I do appreciate them.
I love all of these!!! DIY details are what make the event extra special :) The confetti is my favorite!!! I remember you saying you wanted to incorporate hearts at one time...you should do giant heart confetti! :) XO brynn
OMG Only three months away! So exciting! Our only DIY were these cute little flags we gave guests to wave when we walked back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. We got the idea from Martha Stewart and they were the cutest!
only three more months to go!? WOW! i'm at nine and i can't even imagine how you are feeling! have fun with the DIY! I find that pinterest has amazing ones, i still haven;t decided whether i'll try any since i'm DIY-challenged : )
I can't believe you're only 3 months away!! How exciting! I really relished in the small details of the wedding because those were the things I got to keep. If you like it and think you can find a use for it - go for it! Every time you see it, you will smile :)
I love the confetti idea! I wanted to do it for our own wedding but we weren't allowed to throw confetti at our venue on the water. I DIY'd some pinwheels for our guests to hold up instead. They were adorable in the breeze! I also made the boutonnieres and floral headbands for our flower girls.

These are all amazing but I personally am a sucker for the drink stirrers! They add such a fun and whimsical element to cocktails :)

The personal touches you do for your wedding will definitely be the ones you remember the most!
The fill-in-the-blank To The Bride & Groom is great! Those would be such wonderful keepsakes from your wedding.
I think any DIY touches will definitely make your big day more special! :)

I love the giant confetti! I'm thinking about making some of my own to decorate the cake table and guest book table - but gold! :)

SO FUN!!!! I wish I had opportunities for more DIY - do the fill in, you will be able to laugh at them after the honeymoon and for many years to come!

I think being able to do most of your wedding details via DIY is so personal and charming! I absolutely love those little flags!
