friday's fancies - #58.

hello and happy friday! this week has been interrupted but a small case of the flu.. i am feeling better now but it was rough for a day or two. thankfully h was on hand to take care of me. this weekend i plan to take things easy with a friend's birthday party on saturday, and the season premiere of mad men on sunday!! will you be watching?! i also might try to tune in for a college basketball game or two. Marquette is out of the tournament but i am still interested to see who will win it all. in honor of MU pride and school spirit's sake i have dreamed up an outfit Marquette fans can be proud of::

chiffon maxi skirt $40 - tank $40 - gold sandals $72 - earrings $375 - bag $495 - mu pennant $5.95

have a great weekend!

ps my maid of honor sent me this story, featured on snippet & ink, it's a good reminder to keep things in perspective while planning a wedding (and in life!)

That story really got me. Such a profound way to look at life.

All right I just started crying at work!!!! Such an inspiring story. And on a lighter note...this is the second white tank I have seen labeled as a "vest". So is it a vest or a tank? I am so out of the loop with the fashion lingo. But either way I LOVE It! Have a nice weekend.

I have a similar sandal which one of my friend gifted me. In the same golden color. It is so comfortable to wear that I have started using it almost daily. Normally I get shoes bite when I use a foot wear for the first time. But surprisingly with this one I didn’t get any. So I think this is the one meant for me. When I go for foot wear shopping I make sure that I pick up one with toe support. This one doesn’t have. But I am able to manage without that. Another good thing is because of the strap near the ankle there is no need to wear a separate anklet.
