classic coats.

hoooray! it's march..that means we're getting closer to spring, warmer weather and the return of bike rides! i am beyond excited to retire my 'serious' winter coat in exchange for something lighter (and water-proof). i am ready to upgrade my classic trench (i've had it since high school!) for something another classic coat i can hold onto for years. here are a few of my favorite picks::

I have a trench-inspired swing coat that I love. At one point I really wanted a trench, but decided that all of the extra bells and whistles {flaps, belts, etc.} looked ridiculous on my petite frame. This year I'm looking for one with a hood ... gotta protect the hair when unexpected rain comes!!!

I love that red pea coat. It's gorgeous for spring.

Good luck on the workout/eating plan! I'm struggling with my own but if the motivation is there, you can totally do it!! And I think a wedding is probably pretty good motivation :)

Love these classic looks! I bought a classic trench from banana republic when I was in California in December and I can't wait to start wearing it!
