our bed frame broke recently (oy! don't ask) and so now we're living like hippies with our box spring and mattress on the floor. i've got a nice idea of what i would like our bed to look like::
with a new duvet + cover, quilt, and pillows on our wedding registry i think we'll be able to make this happen later this year. i am still in search of the perfect headboard (that h doesn't think is too girly and i don't think looks exactly like our couch pillows!)
what does your dream bed look like?

My dream bed is a four poster canopy one with a huge fluffy down comforter and lots of pillows.
My dream bed is in pink and gold, I love princess beds.
I love big high beds that look warm and cozy and perfect for spending a cold day in :) Big duvet, just enough pillows to prop yourself up, and a cup of tea within reach haha

Ooh I absolutely love all those inspirations, there's nothing better than a big comfy bed! We have a full bed right now, but whenever we move into a house we're definitely getting a bigger one! :)
i am a true believe that the right headboard can make a room.
I love a big tuft headbord! will lots of pillows and a big fluffy duevt! i know it's sounds girly, but my mister will just have to suffer, because he secretly knows its a sleep heaven lol

I love the look of an over-sized headboard and a massive amount of pillows. A bed that with one look makes you want to lie down on it.

Ooo, my dream bed is definitely a beautiful grey, tufted velvet headboard with pretty, pink monogrammed sheets! Oh, and a vase full of peonies on my night stand!:)
I've struggled to make th eperfect bed lately. I like our sheets and pillows but our west elm duvet is getting faded and is always covered in cat hair :) And our bed sucks - it's from right on futon and is falling apart from moving around so much. Hopefully our replacement bed will be awesome - whenever we find it/build it...
We definitely have our dream mattress! Each side is customized for me and the husband, it is glorious. However, we only have a bed frame. I can't wait to get a headboard one day!

Neeeeed new bedding!! Love the idea of a big huge duvet that you can just get cozy in - I mean it's winter right. Pile on the puffy pillows and blankets:)
oh how i have long loved that bed against the humongous paris map wall paper! i dream of sleeping there! as far as bedding goes - i love clean, crisp & white. the only other 'color' i would throw in would be neutrals in tans or grays. can't wait to see what you pick! XO brynn
if you think that's living like hippies you should see our bed (a futon, basically, on the floor in a tiny wooden loft! ha!) i'm obsessed with my bed at home, high up with super comfy pillows and colorful blankets. it makes me want to curl up just thinking about it! so yes, big and comfy all the way!
