it seems once we have one trip planned we're onto dreaming about the next one... i can't stop dreaming of italy ! we want to visit rome *my pick and milan *h's pick...so he can finally see his soccer team AC Milan play...

I would love to get back to the south of France for longer than 2 weeks this time. It seems like the perfect place to get lost!
Nate and I just went to Thailand for
our honeymoon (pics soon!) and it was fabulous. My travel list is pretty long ... would love to go to: Argentina, the South of France, Milan, Greece, Spain, Ireland and Hong Kong to name a few!
Once you travel, you catch the bug!

I am having serious wanderlust lately, just went back through all my photos from Europe and so sad that it's over! I am dreaming of Germany and Scotland!
Italy is amazing. I'm so thankful I got to go and see my hometown prior to the floods in the Cinque Terre. I'm already lusting over Paris and need to go ASAP.

ahhh so jealous of you! I think either place would be amazing! I went to Europe after college with some of my best girl friends, and we had such a wonderful experience. I'm so wanting to go back!! My husband isn't quite sold on the idea though... can't wait to see where your next adventure is!

LOVE Italia. My parents and brother and sister-in-law are going in June. So wish we could join! My favorite spots were Piedmonte and Cinque Terre! :)

Anywhere in the rural areas of Europe. I'm a city girl from California so I always love going to rural, quiet areas with lots of empty land and nature. So, an Italian countryside sounds pretty perfect to me.
I completely understand your desire to get away- and always be dreaming up new places to go! My bf and I are the same way. It's so much fun to see new places! I'd like to visit Denmark and Amsterdam.

I would take anywhere in Europe really. Lately we have been talking about Greece. :)
I would also love to go back to Italy- I went in high school & think it would be a slightly different trip w/my husband versus my parents.

I have been dying to plan an international vaca for 2012...I absolutely adore Italy, and would love to go back to Europe! I'm also contemplating planning a trip to Israel because I think it would be super interesting! :)

I am the same way, I'm always planning trips. As of lately I've beenr eally wanting to just drop everything and backpack across europe, not that I would actually pack back(i have too many outifts for a tiny backpack!) but I plan on something similar soon!

You're going to have such a great time in Italy! When in Rome (he he) you should rent an apartment. Totally the cheaper and more enjoyable way! I can give you the email of people who rented to us for 3 days. It was seriously the best experience!
Italy is SO very wonderful and I miss living there. One of my other favorite places is New Zealand. I'd pack up and move there in a heartbeat!
Milan is one of my very favorite cities-it's so gorgeous! I dream about warm beaches, lots of sand and no wifi!
Do both, it's only a few hours train ride! Milan is beautiful but there is so much more to see and do in Rome.
Can you do both? My vote would be for Rome - more to see and do, and a perfect jumping off point for weekend adventures!!
Milan is one of my favorite places in the entire world. It's such a beautiful city and someplace I could definitely imagine myself living. Definitely make it up to the top of the Duomo, even if you pay to take the elevator. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Alps and it's absolutely breathtaking. Plus it's a lovely place to take a nap in the summer sun.
