hello chickadees! i had a wonderful new years eve celebration on saturday night!! our friend ryan held his annual nye party and (as always) it was a great group of friends + lots of tasty drinks :) i took allll of saturday to recover and snuck in some movie time with h (we finally watched the curious case of benjamin button). i had the day off yesterday and took advantage of the time to think about 2012 and my to-dos... it's going to be a great year!
i'll admit a few of my resolutions are from last year (hello reality shows!) but i love starting off the year with a few new goals (french!) and dreams (travel).

Glad you had such a great weekend-you looked wonderful! I really need to tone down the reality shows too. I spend way too much time in front of my TV. Wishing you all the best planning the wedding!

Happy 2012!! Those are great goals! "Practice French" should be on my list too. One of my colleagues went to Paris for New Year's and a few days before she left she called me and said, "Do you have a few minutes? I really really need your help!" Thinking it was work-related, I said sure! She then tells me, "I need to know how to say 'I would like to make two reservations to your fashion show on Friday.'" I surprised myself by actually knowing what to say but it reminded me that I'd really like to practice more.

Love your list! The first priority is by far the best :) I definitely need to work on more exercise and I want to try to spend more time in the kitchen. Luckily our new puppy will have me exercsing a lot (especially when she gets big, she'll need TONS of exercise!)
I too feel that I should give up on reality TV watching... It's just so completely addictive though! Perhaps moderation is the key rather than total barring from any form of reality TV?

Practicing French is on my list too! I think I may have made a deal with husband the other day too...if I actually get better, he'll take me to Paris for Christmas at the end of the year! Let's see if it actually happens...
