hello, holidays!

this weekend after we finished our turkey and watched football it was time to roll out the holiday decorations! on sunday h and i decorated out itty bitty tree, hung our stockings and i whipped up a batch of my favorite holiday cookies. we also watched two of my favorite holiday films: home alone & ELF! it was h's first time seeing will ferrel running around NYC as a man-child elf in tights...needless to say he laughed a.lot.

totally watched Christmas Vacation. Love it! I don't think I'm going to decorate for the holidays this year since I haven't really decorated the apartment yet.

I haven't started yet, and the blogosphere is making me feel very behind! I'm still just trying to detox from Thanksgiving :) Hopefully this weekend we'll find a sliver of time to begin ~ can't wait!

I've watched Elf, The Holiday, Love Actually and Home Alone already - tree is going up tonight, although we will only be able to enjoy for two weeks before we go away! It's worth it :)

Yes! I went to see Arthur Christmas the other day and it is truly the greatest Christmas movie I've seen in years - I think I enjoyed it much more than the five-year-old sitting beside me!
