the perfect hair style is just as important as the dress + the shoes. here's my game plan:: since i am getting married in the middle of the summer i will probably go with some sort of up-do. my hair is pin-straight so i'll pass on lots of curls. and i plan on keeping my bangs so i have been on the search for a unique style that works with my bangs...

I'm loving all of these styles -- esp. the half up/down look! I think it'd be cute with bangs! I had a giant ballerina bun for my wedding-do.

All of these are great! I love the ones that are half up/ half down, or with the bangs swooped to the side.

I think it depends a lot on the dress and what the bride is comfortable with. As a former hairstylist I always recommend trying it out ahead of time to be sure you and the stylist are on the same page. The updo w/the bangs is cute. xo
these are some beautiful inspirations! i prefer hair up because it has a better chance of staying that way!! if you do it half down or all down, depending on the weather, your curls may fall out! but if you decide to do it that way, its soo pretty too ahha!!
so pretty! i know someone who used that exact image of carrie underwood for her wedding hair inspiration and it turned out amazing. so classy. i personally prefer up, but that's just because if my hair is in my face, it drives me nuts. that's the last thing i wanted to worry about on my wedding day.

I had mine up with side swept bangs. I think showing off the neck is very pretty. Although, letting the hair down is a bit more free spirited.

I love the updo on the redhead. Advice: wear your hair similar to the way you usually wear it but even more glamourous. I wore mine down & curled and I'm so glad that I did. I pinned it up myself for dancing, but now I look back and see myself in pictures, not some barbie.
Unless that's what you're going for--which I'm sure you're not! ;)

Love Carrie's hair and the braids.. i am trying to decide what i want to do for my bff's wedding i am the MOH in over Labor Day weekend!
I grew my hair out for two years before my wedding, so you can bet that I wore it down! It's definitely personal preference, and there are some updos that I absolutely love, but there's just something about hair being down that I love :)

I wore my hair down on my wedding day, and wish that I had worn it up. I love those romantic looks with the bangs, yet a few loose pieces falling.

My wedding hairdo was almost exactly like the one on the top right, except I added a rhinestone band behind my bangs for some sparkle since I skipped having a veil. It held up well, even as it fell a bit, since my hair is super straight and heavy.
I'm really glad I made an appointment with my stylist for her to just play and help me see how the pictures I'd saved would or wouldn't work with my hair.

Updos aren't my fav but as long as they're loose and not overdone....I'm into them. These photos are all FAB.
I love the bangs with the flower and the redhead with the low side bun. If I was getting married I would go with the low side bun or down and wavy :)

for my wedding it was really important to me that i looked like myself. too many weddings had i seen where the bride was barely recognizable. there's nothing more creepy than so much makeup and hairspray that you look like a plastic doll on your wedding day, a day that is suppose to celebrate the union of two unique people. i did the messy side bun, something a friend did for me, which looked like a glammed up version of what i would do myself on any other day. it was perfect. i also love it when brides do some sort of relaxed updo, and then let their hair down for the dancing. that is one fun bride in my book! :)
