be classy


a classy lady brings a gift for the hostess and sends a thank you after a visit. i received a super cute thank you card from miss {av} and it got me thinking about my own stock of cards. i am loving these pretty picks:


i also want to invest in a custom return address stamp::


anyone else love snail mail? do you send thank you notes?

  2. living in italy and so far from my buds i LOVE to get/send letters. i have one friend in particular who has been my pen pal since we were in 6th grade! we love our letter writing tradition! :) and getting a nice thank you is the best feeling, isn't it?
    (i think i pinned those stamps recently, i love them!)

  3. I love writing notes and receiving notes -- it's such a great feeling :) I could oogle over stationery any day. Put me in Paper Source and I could spend the whole day checking out the card section!

  5. I LOVE sending handwritten notes!! I have a couple people I stay in touch with by sending them and I always make the extra effort to make sure they're unique and pretty for their pleasure! I'm always eyeing the gold floral thank you cards! So pretty with a painterly quality!

  8. Classy is the only way to be!! I love getting notes/cards in the mail. It's a wonderful feeling when someone takes the time to write. Makes my day and is something I love to do! I think I may be a stationary addict ; )

  11. I la-la-la-loooove snail mail! Especially when it comes on an adorable card like the ones above!! My grandma used to send me letters every month when she was still around. I miss those so much!

    Also, I have yet to break in my personalized stamp that I won in a giveaway. And since we have received some incredible housewarming gifts I do declare it's time to use it!

    I love Rifle - They were on our consideration set for invitations. So pretty. I also LOVE sending/receiving thank you notes. so much more special than an email/text.

  13. I adore snail mail and buying/ making new stationary is actually on my 25 before 25 list. I feel like it is a much more personal way of communicating. Haven't thought of a return address stamp, but now I think it's getting added to my wishlist!

  15. A handwritten note is such a nice gesture and especially appreciated since it takes a little extra effort; something I need to do more of! If I were to send one today i'd probably pick the gold painted stripes.

  17. Notecards and thank you notes are something I have an obsession collecting (I love the clearance section at TJ Maxx and Marshalls). I am trying to get better at actually *writing* my thank yous (I always have a list of thank yous to write).

  21. I always send thank you cards via snail mail. Email is fine and convenient but snail mail shows you put a little thought and effort into it. Plus, it's always nice to get something in the mail besides bills and junk. :)

  31. I love snail mail. I will gladly and often do spend way to much on stationary. I recently made a pact with a friend, no texting-just snail mail, and it's been so much fun getting little notes.

  41. i really need to be better at thank you cards!!! it is actually something that i am focusing on...along with sending little "just because" surprises to my friends & family. i have been picking up little trinkets that remind me of others and sending them their way...just because :) i am in love with all of rifle paper co's stuff...so pretty! xoxoxo brynn

  44. I love snail mail! That is how I have gotten to know my husbands grandparents.. and since I've been writing them, I've been writing all my friends who are far away. It such a great treat to get a letter! Absolutely adore the custom stamp! It is going on my wishlist!

  55. I had to comment on this post because I'm a huge lover of snail mail. It's one of the joys in my life. I really want to get a pretty return stamp like that. And I do like to send out thank you cards. A handwritten note is a nice touch. x
