okay so you might remember this post from a few months ago. i was all about the teddy-bear-esque pups but lately i can't get enough of little frenchies. there's just something about those little pointy ears... and the puppies?!

so game over- we need to expand our family (just as soon as we find one from a shelter--seriously just say no to puppy mills!) until then with the help of the o so addictive pinterest i can save all those little pups onto my 'happy maker' board when i need a little something to brighten my day.

Definitely a dog person! I have a lab/English setter mix. She is the sweetest, best dog! Her name is Aida which means helpful :)

Definitely a dog person. I love naming pets after something significant in your life. My dog is named after a fictional character, Tully Mars, from a Jimmy Buffett book. Mishmash is precious!

OMG...love, love, love frenchies!! We decided on a westie, but it was a close call. Every frenchie I see seems to happy and friendly :) I couldn't find a breeder around here to visit them, so we went with what we knew. And I'm so glad we did, but every time I see a frenchie I think "awww...maybe Louis needs a sister?"
I am definitely a dog person, and by default my favorite dog name is Louis Wellington :)

Oh my gosh I want to cuddle up next to one of these. Their wrinkly faces are just the best! We are expanding our family with a dog as soon as we move (carpeted apartments and puppies do not mix)!

OMG they are adorable!! I really want a little cocker spaniel pup. The Boyfriend and I have decided we're going to get one as soon as we're living somewhere that allows dogs. For now, we have our Little Love, Molly. :)
OMG the picture of the dog chewing the leaf melts my heart! I'm trying to convince my bf its a good idea for us to have a dog, he's not havin' it. haha.
I used to be a "fish" sort of a person...they're just there to look pretty...no calling a sitter when you leave on a trip, and no big poop logs in your backyard to pick up. But then we got Chomper (he was such a cute little Pitbull puppy, I couldn't resist)...the boys named him after the baby TRex in "A Land Before Time"...and he's definitely lived up to it (he's been known to chew through doors just to get in the house)...but I can't imagine our family without him now...I just adore him. And the best part is, my husband takes care of all the dog dooty :)
Love both cats and dogs- right now bf & I have 2 cats (and pending Boxer & pug additions). Kitty names are Zoe and Meowington :)
I have a Frenchie and they are the greatest dogs! My Frenchie, Frances, never barks, which is great when you live in a small condo in Chicago. They are awesome city dogs and because Chicago is such a dog friendly place I can bring her everywhere (p.s. Nordstrom on Michigan Ave. even has a "doggy comfort center" in the loggy with treats and a water bowl). If you want the name of a breeder in southern Illinois I'd be happy to tell you where my little Fran came from. Get one! It will be the best decision ever!

oh those puppies are so cute! and yay for saying no to puppy mills! there are so many sweet dogs at shelters in need of a loving family. have you checked into a rescue organization specifically for frenchies? we have a cat {she's been my roomy for 10 years now}, and we plan on getting a giant dog in the nearish future. i'm a therapist, so i want to get a therapy dog. can't wait!

My sister-in-law has a french bulldog who is still in her first year. She is cute but she is so rambunctious! My goodness, she jumps on you non stop! She is pretty funny though.
My sweet baby from the shelter was one of the best decisions I ever made! And of course, dog is the way to go.
Those puppies are way too cute for their own good! I'm a dog and cat person; I love them both. We've had boxer dogs my whole life and we've rescued all but one from a boxer rescue. Good idea of getting one from a shelter. They are so ready to be loved!

Ummm...you're KILLING ME. And btw -- I have the SAME dream, but different name for the pup. I will only get a rescue pup. Preferably one that really needs me. Buddy had a broken leg. I want someone that no one else wants. I love the sweet broken ones that need tons of love.

hello! i'm a new follower and i just have to say that these dogs are precious! i work at an animal shelter and we rarely get any of these cute pups. try a breed specific rescue group. :)
