to be honest, h and i wrote down our summer bucket list during a freezing weekend sometime in February. so yah. needless to say we've been dreaming about summer and sunshine for months :) here's my top 11 for summer 2011::
this past weekend we crossed off a few on the (extended) list. we visited Humboldt park, which absolutely surprised me - it's HUGE and just so pretty! too bad it's not v safe at night. we scoped out a few perfect spots for our engagement photos :) tomorrow night i am going to a movie in the park with friends (if it every stops raining!)

Your list looks incredible! You're going to have one happening summer. I've always wanted to watch a movie in a park. I'm excited because this is the first summer where I'm in a place with so many things that can be done!

Jillian, your list is adorable. And I just may need to copy it because the ideas are so perfect--I have never thought about the water taxi to Chinatown! I have never even been to Chinatown except to run through during the marathon and I suspect visiting for leisure would be much more enjoyable :)
I want to do Fork and the Road. Have you heard of it? You bike and eat. There are several different food themed rides through Chicago.

I've never heard of taking a water taxi to China Town! That's definitley going on my list. Along with more movies in the park, more farmer's markets and trying to get over to Food Truck Tuesdays this month.

i love your idea of a summer bucket list! summer is one of those seasons that just comes and goes in a flash, so if you don't consciously think about the things you want to do it'll be gone in no time!

oh what a great idea! I seriously need to learn how to ride a bike again. I tried in Italy and I got the ugliest bruises after I fell off it a couple times. I have TERRIBLE balance..obviously haha
