paris has always been on the top of my 'places to visit' list. What I want to do there are pretty much simple and classic things. Like go to a museum, sit outside a cafe while reading a literature book and of course drinking coffee, walking around the street with my camera, and see the eiffel tower from the best and closet spot possible. This city has been filling up my dreams ever since I was a kid. Hope someday I will be able to go there :)
Ah, Paris is one of the places I want to go tooo!! Its looks so romantic and lovely and perfect. For our honeymoon we went on a cruise throughout Europe (Italy, Spain, France, Greece...and we even hit Africa)...but we never got to Paris. Sigh
oh i love paris! i lived in London for two years after college and would visit often. my favorite is notre dame and the crape stand right out front! yum. your post has made me want to go back soon. xo kendall

Ah Paris. [sigh] Possibly THE best place on earth...Ever! I have been there four times. I try & make a yearly visit & this year I shall be starting & ending La Grande Aventure there. Absolutely CANNOT wait! Favourite places are Montmartre & St. Germain des Pres (very swish). One day I SHALL live there! I shall, I shall, I shall! x

cheers to {av} and her handsome one - what an awesome way to celebrate! happy sunday lades. ♥
My famous line is "my parents didn't love me enough to take me across any oceans, except the pacific to hawaii...which for California kids is pretty darn normal". But seriously, they'd drop us off (my brother and I) at grampa and grammas and jet set around the globe. Now, I understand why they didn't want to take two kids and all the things kids need to Europe and Asia. I'm dying to go to Europe. I'd love to leave there for a year.
I went to Paris in college. Loved it. My favorite city I have ever been too perhaps. The language, the food, the people it all hits like a wave and makes me feel like I need to get back there as soon as possible(I'm planning a trip actually!) Happy Anniversary to {av} and her hubby!

I've been to Paris. When I studied abroad at Oxford in college a girlfriend and I went for three days over a weekend. It was a whirlwind. There was the little eatery that was on our walk from our hostal to the Champs-Elysee and we stopped a couple times. They had delicious foods that we brought home to our friends. I also got my first Louis Vuitton at the flagship store; it's still my favorite to this day. We went to the Musee D'Orsay, which I liked a lot more than the Louvre. The Louvre seemed to make the art lifeless, and I was so disappointed by the size of the painting and the crowd around it. I almost wish we hadn't wasted the time. We climbed to the top of the Arc de Triomphe instead of the Eiffel Tower because we heard that would be better. The stairs definitely were. I forgot how much I enjoyed my trip to Paris until I started writing this comment; thanks for allowing me to walk down memory lane here!
honeymoon was mexico, we did nothing but eat, sleep, drink and bask in the sun, GLORIOUS :)
You're inspiration boards are to die for! What a lovely blog.
Blessings,
Jordan
You're adorable! I dream about so many places. I'd love to go somewhere green and romantic and bohemian like Ireland, but Greece might be my number one. I can't wait until I actually get to go!

girl after my own heart... that's where Dan & I got engaged! :) happy sunday xo
For the record, MY BLOG doesn't have anything about Paris on it. :) Atleast, not yet. Although it is a top travel destination. ::le sign::, a girl can dream.
Paris, je t'aime! I went there for one week a couple of years ago and found it melancholy but beautiful. If I had won lotto on the weekend (alas, I did not), I would've upped and left for the City of Light... Would love to go back and study French for a year or so at the Sorbonne.

You're killing me. I want to go sooooooooo bad!
these photos are stunning, your inspiration boards are always so inspiring and beautiful!
Yes all these Paris posts make me nostalgic and jealous too! I really want to go back. Thanks for sharing your pretty images!
I've never even been to Europe so I'm beyond jealous that you have gone to Paris! I'm dying to go to England (I love all things British) and Ireland most of all but Italy and France are on the list too!
Love Paris...so dreamy and romantic with incredible architecture!! Thrilled to find and follow your blog!!
Ahh love Paris! I loved just walking the street of Paris and finding things on our own. The most fun thing we found was a street market... so neat!
Ohhhhhhhh I wanna go so bad! I just had a dream the other morning about it. I die. So beautiful.
Paris! I've been twice, although I was an annoying teenager both times. I saved up all my monies, worked hard selling pretzels and soda at ball games and finally went to Europe with a group from high school...twice! It was amazing. I have such fond memories of Paris! We were there in March of 2000, so the Eiffel Tower was still lit up for the Millenium and twinkled like crazy at night! So breathtaking.
We went to Italy for our honeymoon, which was pretty incredible. So many wonderful places to choose for that, though!
And to answer your question about our friends - they are getting married at Women's Park and Gardens and then having their reception at The Glessner House Museum, next door. I've never been but it's apparently pretty neat!
I never been - but it speaks volumes about my style that I would like to visit to scout out the history and eat macaroons on the Champs Elysee someday.
I want to go to Paris SOO badly! It just looks so romantic! My husband and I went to Kauai for our honeymoon and I highly recommend it! It's the best of both worlds...no language barriers or currency exchange, but you really do feel like you're in a whole different world. You can do nothing but relax or go one tons of adventures. Just loved everything about it! xo
I went to paris for a weekend while I was studying here in Florence, and it definitely wasn't long enough! I've been dreaming of going back wtih my husband for our first anniversary (when I was there the first time I was wishing I was in love!), and renting bicycles for an afternoon in Versailles
So jealous you've been there at all! I've never gone there but i'm dying to go it looks like an incredibly beautiful city. I really want to visit the Lourve as well!
