love is sweet.

today i am linking up with breakfast at toast's wedding blog crawl... and i have my mind on sweet things::

hoosier mama pies, ice cream cookie pops, the cake poppery
biscuit barvoodoo donuts (we had these in portland and LOVED them!), cupcakes
i have a major sweet tooth so i would love to have quite a bit of variety at my wedding for the desserts. what sort of sweets do you dream of on your wedding day? anything different?

Mo Pie, Please said...

I want to eat all of this. I wish I would have thought to do a dessert/candy table at our wedding but we were so excited about the cake that we didn't bother with anything else. Plus, there was so much food and booze and only 55 people that I'm sure only the 3 kids at our wedding would have eaten off it. They didn't like the cake because it was an "adult" cake with custard and berries. Silly kids :)

So great meeting you! Tell your fiance I'm impressed with the ring :) Hope to see you again sometime!

I love every single one of these deliciously small treats! They are so artful, as well. It would be such an sinful pleasure just to bite into them! I have attended a few weddings with candy bars and I always thought they were such a wonderful idea; especially if you get the right candy and it looks like jewelry! Have a lovely weekend! xo Samantha

Dear Lord, one of everything please. Individual desserts might be my favorite modern trend of weddings. And any of these would be adorable to have at a girly party as well.

Oh goodness. Sweets are my weakness! I actually gave up cake, cookies, etc for Lent and almost didn't survive, haha! Voodoo donuts are SO GOOD! I had them while I was in Portland, too! Couldn't get over how cheap they were for so many! I can't wait to add some of these pastry ideas of my list of things to bake!

Stop by again soon! xoxo!
