it won't stop raining...so naturally i have been dreaming about summer and sunshine. it seems like it will never arrive in chicago, but when it does i want to be ready. i have added a straw fedora or cloche to my wishlist :) here are a few of my favorites::

The weather absolutely sucks here too- sooo depressing. On a happier note, love love these- I just bought one for the 5 year old and it is so adorable on her- not sure if I could still pull one off but I adore the look.

Hooray for sun! I'm loving straw fedoras right now. I'm just not sure I'm the kind of girl who could pull one off. I'm afraid I'd look like I'm trying to hard. They are way cute though.

Love these! I am dying for a panama hat for this spring/summer. Last year I had a fedora, but unfortunately my little girls smashed it while playing dress-up, so I can't wear it anymore. So a new hat is definitely in my future!

If I could pull off the whole hat thing..I would definitely be up for it..but the only hats I currently wear are baseball ones. Which unfortunately don't have that same adorable look.
that second cloche is adorable! i haven't worn a hat in summer in the longest time which is pretty bad..i bought a big straw sunhat when I holidayed in Egypt to protect my head but left it behind in the airport!
these straw cloches have inspired me to start again though!

I absolutely adore hats, but have only ever found ONE that looks decent on me. I don't know why, but I think it's because I have such a small head :( They swallow me up and I look ridiculous.

Ok, so I have a serious problem with hats. Not so much the hats, but my head. I have a child sized head and have a hard time finding hats that fit me although I love them so!
Cute hats - I like the fedoras best. I wear hats of the giant, wide brimmed variety since I am super pale and plan to stay that way :)

I got a very chic straw fedora last summer and it was the best $$$ spent - I wore it all the time and it completed so many outfits (plus protected my face from the sun)

fedoras are TOTALLY worth it! i bought my first last summer and i feel like i honestly wore it every other day. i can't wait to bust that puppy out again for the sunshine (you're right - - the rain in chicago has been UNBEARABLE)
