happy friday lovelies! i am super excited the weekend is almost here :) on saturday we are going to see two more potential wedding venues (that brings the grand total up to 8) -so fingers crossed one of these works. on sunday, h and i are hitting up the shops in wicker park to track down a few records he is dying to add to his collection (i'm hoping we'll sneak in a lunch date too!) i am dreaming of springy weather but there is chilly rain in the weekend forecast. bleh. if the weather does turn around this is what i would love to wear...

Sometimes, I buy CDs so I can play it on my player. But because of the lack of time and also the lack of money, mostly I just download the songs and listen to it on my laptop or phone (I don't have an iPod).
If you're a fan of pop-rock music, I'd like to recommend you The Summer Set. But if you prefer some relaxing or acoustic music, I recommend you Chase Coy, He is We, and Sara Bareilles' new songs. :)

cutecute! yes! we love playing records.. we usually hit up the record store on broadway. some of my fave finds are stevie wonder's songs in the key of life, tracy chapman's self-titled debut album, radiohead kid-a or ok computer, joni mitchell's blue, nick drake's "pink moon", anything by mumford + sons...

funny story: we decorated my freshman year dorm room with records from musicals that we found at a flea market. LOVED it. I've become an mp3 girl, but I love the sound of vinyl too...my parents have a player that I love to blast some old school Beatles on!
