wear something your boyfriend can't.
after seeing the tagline "wear something your boyfriend can't" on piperlime's current ad campaign i started rethinking heels. i know i just proclaimed my love and devotion to ballet flats but there are times i want to wear something with a little height. these wedges might do the trick (i would assume they would be easier to walk in than stilettos!)

a. i need a pair of flaired jeans fast
b. flaired jeans have not hit the UK yet. so i would get a.lot. of stares.
c. for some reason that i cannot understand, it is harder for me to walk in wedges then in stilettos. i constantly roll my ankle in wedges..WTheck?! i'm really upset about it.
ok. let me retract b. they have hit the uk...the cool parts..like central London..but not places like Nottingham..the country parts.
Wedges are awesome and are far easier to walk in! However I only wear heels if I'm out for a special event, like a party or a dinner, or when I'm not out with my boyfriend. He is about 1cm taller that me when we are in bare feet so I like to be the same height when I go out with him. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thankfully I have some little kitten heels which don't make me any taller :)

wedgdes are the perfect compromise! they make you feel a little more dressed up and feminine, but there is still an ease to them. love the styling pics you put with them too!

As much as I love flats, heels and wedges are my best friend. I probably wear them four out of the five days of the work week...and I love what you've chosen. If only I could shop...{sorry, I know I say that every time you post something I like...}.

I love wedges and heels but I am such a goon, if I am walking more than a couple blocks I have to have flats either on my feet or in my purse as a back up!
i love number 3! i would wear them every day over the summer! i am a heel convert. since i am approaching the scary event that is my 25th birthday i feel like i need more grown up shoes and my feet have been getting used to heels of all kinds now.
what a hilarious tagline...so funny! i wear flats all the time but have started getting back into my heels again...

I have a few pairs of wedges and I LOVE them! I wear heels a lot for work & I find that wedges are more comfortable at the end of the day. And they make me so much taller! ;)

wedges are my favorite alternative to heels! i am on the hunt for the perfect black pair (and am kinda lusting over Jeffrey Campbell's Mariel wedge)
YaY! I have all these things in my closet!!!! I bought some cork wedges last summer to wear to my rehearsal dinner and I love them. They're from Ruche and they were affordable but look like Michael Kors wedges! And I have pants like that to pair them with - come on spring!

When you pair them with such perfectly styled looks, how can you resist? I realized the other day that I have an equal number of flats as I do boots and heels combined (and trust me, there are a lot of shoes stashed under our bed), so last night I bought a sweet pair of blush patent pumps-can't wait to wear them!
