I've been really into wearing my silk scarves lately. I've worn a scarf to the beach for years (I can't stand dealing with tangled up beach hair), but have been working them into my regular wardrobe, too. I especially like tying a knot in the middle and wearing them as a headband - it invokes the turban trend, without going over the top!

I have a whole drawer of my moms old silk scarves... love them!

I always wish I could pull of wearing pretty scarves like this but not sure it's in my style. Not sure how to wear them anyway - neck? head? I just give up.

I love scarves but they always slide off my hair. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a floral OSCAR by Oscar de la Renta silk scarf I got at Marshalls for $10! I wore it once already, can you tell I'm ready for Spring?

I love the look of scarves but I can't ever get them to look right on me. I'd love to find a vintage vera and frame it.

After a good friend taught me how to wear a scarf properly, I've become pretty smitten with them. Can't wait to dive into these great finds you have.

Amazing blog by the way!

I have several silk scarves I wear them when I go to church to cover my head - East European style, or just around my neck.

i love scarves, but never feel like i can pull them off! growing up, my mom would wear silk scarves to work, either tucked into a blouse or with a brooch. i'm thinking i should just go for it. love that first one.

It's so funny...this morning, as I was pulling out a sweater from my closet, a matching scarf that I had hanging on the wall fell out with it and I thought that I should wear it with my outfit today! The only thing is...I have no idea how to wear a scarf "properly"...Tips?

Joelle

I always love silk scarves like that, but I don't feel I could pull it off for headwear.

I love that scene in Bridget Jones when they go on a mini-break and she has a scarf on her head. Then it flies off and her hair is insane.

Whenever I go vintage shopping I end up not being able to afford, well, anything. But I don't want to leave empty-handed so I pick my favorite silk scarf, because they always have baskets of them for under 10 euro, and you can never have too many scarves! Or at least.. I don't THINK you can. If it is possible I'm sure going to be the one to find out where that limit is...

I love silky scarves! My grandma left me her collection of scarves that she accumulated from her world travels (Ireland, France, Italy) they are beyond gorgeous! I am a little afraid to take them out in public though, just because they are so sentimental... But they're still gorgeous :)

I must have an oddly-shaped head because they always fall off!! Lol.

I need a silk scarf. I also need to try to wear one as a head wrap. I always stare at women who try this and never have the nerve. This is the year!

these are lovely jillian. i especially like the "jelly bean" one. I love to wear these in different ways both as scarves and as headwraps, but i recently saw someone wearing a scarf tied around their wrist with some chain bracelets and i'm dying to try that!

I need more practice with my silk scarf. I do the wide headband thing for a hippie/Palm Springs look but always feel like I look silly with it around my neck. Tutorial please!

i love a little silk scarf tied once around the neck! perfect for chilly days when you want to add a little flair!

lovin' the scarf scene and been wearing them ever since my head grew large enough for them not to slip off...before that my neck had to do!

i'll sometimes tie them on my wrist too, like a bracelet, so many functions for them seriously.

your selects are lovely and inspiring. ♥
