I've been really into wearing my silk scarves lately. I've worn a scarf to the beach for years (I can't stand dealing with tangled up beach hair), but have been working them into my regular wardrobe, too. I especially like tying a knot in the middle and wearing them as a headband - it invokes the turban trend, without going over the top!
I have a whole drawer of my moms old silk scarves... love them!
I always wish I could pull of wearing pretty scarves like this but not sure it's in my style. Not sure how to wear them anyway - neck? head? I just give up.
I love scarves but they always slide off my hair. Am I doing something wrong?
I have a floral OSCAR by Oscar de la Renta silk scarf I got at Marshalls for $10! I wore it once already, can you tell I'm ready for Spring?
I love silk scarves and I try to wear them as much as I can:)They are such a beautiful accessory! Btw: I think you will love my morning post...its also about scarves:)
Happy day, sweetie
Ps: I’m hosting a stunning Ruche GIVEAWAY today! Hope you’ll join in :)
I love the look of scarves but I can't ever get them to look right on me. I'd love to find a vintage vera and frame it.
After a good friend taught me how to wear a scarf properly, I've become pretty smitten with them. Can't wait to dive into these great finds you have.
Amazing blog by the way!
I love scarves and ALWAYS ALWAYS look at them whenever I'm at any store ... I especially love the ones at thrift stores but can never figure out the 'right' way to wear them! hmmmm...
Lauren @ tickled.
I have several silk scarves I wear them when I go to church to cover my head - East European style, or just around my neck.

I adore scarves and vintage Vera are my absolute favourites- I have a pillow made out of one and would love to frame one or 10- speaking of, Alex of Things that Sparkle just framed the most gorgeous scarf you've ever seen- pictures on her blog. Lovely pics Jillian!!
Ah love this so cute!
And yes if worn properly they look gorgeous!

i love scarves, but never feel like i can pull them off! growing up, my mom would wear silk scarves to work, either tucked into a blouse or with a brooch. i'm thinking i should just go for it. love that first one.

once upon an orange county suburban city time i frequently wore the silk scarves...usually around the neck.
i could bring it back.
It's so funny...this morning, as I was pulling out a sweater from my closet, a matching scarf that I had hanging on the wall fell out with it and I thought that I should wear it with my outfit today! The only thing is...I have no idea how to wear a scarf "properly"...Tips?

I always love silk scarves like that, but I don't feel I could pull it off for headwear.
I love that scene in Bridget Jones when they go on a mini-break and she has a scarf on her head. Then it flies off and her hair is insane.
Whenever I go vintage shopping I end up not being able to afford, well, anything. But I don't want to leave empty-handed so I pick my favorite silk scarf, because they always have baskets of them for under 10 euro, and you can never have too many scarves! Or at least.. I don't THINK you can. If it is possible I'm sure going to be the one to find out where that limit is...
sooo pretty!
I can't get enough of silk scarves! I can never keep them on my head though when I wear them. You have Inspired me for this Spring

I love scarves! I recently just framed one and have a Pucci one I wear on every vacation! Love love love! And btw, I am loving your blog, quickly became one of my favorites!
I love silky scarves! My grandma left me her collection of scarves that she accumulated from her world travels (Ireland, France, Italy) they are beyond gorgeous! I am a little afraid to take them out in public though, just because they are so sentimental... But they're still gorgeous :)
love love love! i need some more silky scarves in my life!!
i would definitely give this a try! if it would stay in my slippery hair...!

i wear long cashmere and cotton scarves wrapped loosely around my neck, and sometimes silk scarves as a belt with boyfriend jeans!
I must have an oddly-shaped head because they always fall off!! Lol.
Oooh yes, let's!!! I like to either wear them wrapped around like a headband or do the turban look.
p.s. thank you for the nice comment on my last post regarding my job loss. greatly appreciated.

i love #1...the dotty necker. so cute!
I need a silk scarf. I also need to try to wear one as a head wrap. I always stare at women who try this and never have the nerve. This is the year!

these are lovely jillian. i especially like the "jelly bean" one. I love to wear these in different ways both as scarves and as headwraps, but i recently saw someone wearing a scarf tied around their wrist with some chain bracelets and i'm dying to try that!

i wander, i wonder
Adorable! Very glamorous. I have one silk scarf that I like to throw on if I'm in a vintage/movie star mood:-) xoxo

I am a huge fan of a vintage scarf tied around the head like a bandana in a boho style. Definitely breaking out my silk scarves this summer, or my next bad hair day! ;) xo Samantha
number one is my fave. i love scarves, year round.
BEAUTIFUL! I wish I could pull this off/ figure out how to do it right. I'm not giving up hope though!

love one and five. before i moved to portland (i'm from l.a) i only used scarves as a hair accessory and will always try to use it that way! love your picks, btw.
I need more practice with my silk scarf. I do the wide headband thing for a hippie/Palm Springs look but always feel like I look silly with it around my neck. Tutorial please!

apparently scarves are always in season in afghanistan.... :)
love a great scarf! these are all beauties!
i love a little silk scarf tied once around the neck! perfect for chilly days when you want to add a little flair!
lovin' the scarf scene and been wearing them ever since my head grew large enough for them not to slip off...before that my neck had to do!
i'll sometimes tie them on my wrist too, like a bracelet, so many functions for them seriously.
your selects are lovely and inspiring. ♥
I have been thinking about investing in a couple this spring! So bright and colorful! Love it!
